This sounds like two different people. I don’t think the excuse maker knows that they are an excuse maker, nor would they put their mind to making a problem work. They simply are not used to using their intelligence in that direction. I’ll try directing one or two I know. Thanks for the thought.
You’re right. I think it really comes down to mindset. You either have the active mindset of ‘figuring out a way to make it work’ or the passive mindset of accepting defeat before even starting.
