I did not want to say Apple’s strategy was the best but simply demonstrate that dedicated users/customers will not consider the price but rather the quality of the product you deliver.
That being said, I agree with you is still doing “old-school” industrial business.
A creator should not generate inequality. I’m a big fervent of the “pay what you want” system. This is a good way to deliver a product without dividing the audience. And also it puts the customer in a position of engagement (the customer is the one taking the decision) which involves him/her a little more in the work of the creator.
I really appreciate your engagement with your audience on this pricing ethics subject. And also the way you work on new ways to do business 🙂
