Fat-free Cottage Cheese & Strawberry Jam

Wow. I had read in a health article somewhere that fat-free cottage cheese and jam is a good healthy snack. I already know that fat-free cottage cheese is really healthy because of its high protein content; however I've never been able to eat it plain. It just doesn't taste good. Regular cottage cheese with chives is really good though, but it has quite a bit of fat and sugar. When I heard about fat-free cottage cheese and jam (grape or strawberry), I really didn't think it would taste good. But today I decided to give it a try. I have some 100% natural, no sugar added, strawberry jam, and I mixed that with some fat-free cottage cheese. Wow, it actually tastes pretty good! Try it! It's an excellent snack to have a night if you start having hunger cravings (as I always do!).

  1. LoL. I guess I did my healthy food shopping just right! Some of the things I bought were fat-free cottage cheese and organic blueberry jam. I haven’t mixed the two yet, but I should’ve gotten some strawberry jam by the way that sounds with cottage cheese. =)

    Yes sir, I’m eating healthier. It was funny when you said I should stay away from white rice. I was thinking “oh I’m doomed”. But I bought 3 boxes of brown rice and I’m doing fine. The motivation to stay away from doublecheese burgers and twinkies helps too.

    Theres something weird with this comment box by the way. Like when I type something in with a full window, part of the box hides behind the weather box and I can’t see what I’m typing. Maybe its just my settings or something else.

    But thats a good quick snack tip. It’ll keep me from eating a 2nd dinner late at night. =P

    With regards to the comment box running off under the weather box, I’m pretty sure that’s a problem with your web browser. I have tested it on several different browsers (IE, Firefox) and it displays fine. When I get a chance, I will resize the comment form and make it the same width as the comment’s list.
