Cambridge Apartment Pictures – Part II

As promised, I have uploaded a new gallery containing pictures of my new apartment. This is what $950 a month gets you in Cambridge, Massachusetts (actually, $1100, but I talked the landlord into letting me pay the same rent as the basement).

I love the high ceilings, five big windows, and the fact that I can use my pullup bar to do leg raises without bending my knees! If you're wondering where my bed is... well it's wherever there is enough room on the floor to sleep. 🙂

  1. Can you build some type of bunkbed loft for sleeping above your desk or workout equipment? Or consider getting a chair that pulls out into a bed.

  2. I enjoy sleeping on the floor. My back and neck ache so badly if I sleep on a bed, no matter how firm or soft. Besides that, it definitely saves a lot of space not having a bed! I wouldn’t even have that big comfy chair in here if it wasn’t for the previous tenants offering to leave it for me.

  3. You’d do pretty well in Vietnam then, sleeping on those wood beds. Looks like a rectangle dinning room table but low to the ground. In 1999, my first trip to Vietnam, I asked why everyone was sitting on the table… 😳
