It's not my house anymore

Several times a month, I find myself going out of my way to drive by the first house I bought (Cumberland RD), even though it was sold more than six months ago. It's weird. It almost feels as though it hasn't hit me that I no longer own it -- like I still have some sort of responsibility to make sure everything is OK.

  1. I was that way for awhile when we sold our house and moved. I still drive by it just to see the improvements the new owners have made to it.

3 weeks after my sister moved out of a house, she pulled into the driveway and got out of the car. She realized it wasn’t her place by the time she got to the front door.
