Had fun today. Pretty relaxing day, got to spend most of it with Kea.
Found a new IRC network that I'm going to switch to. No longer going to use DalNet. Using irc.box.sk with the same ekarma nick. Also still use irc.enterthegame.com for the #clan-bye channel. Theres a network of websites that I also found. linux.box.sk, neworder.box.sk, science.box.sk, and a few others listed on edge.dev.box.sk. Those first 3 I mentioned are my favorites, and I plan to visit them often to keep up with related stuff.
Ordered the 7 Debian linux cds (could download and burn them, but thats a bit too many cds for my downloading taste). Plan to start learning Linux and UNIX as soon as possible. Checked the job market and even someone with little expirence and a strong understanding/skill set on Linux/UNIX can get a high paying job ($45k+ a year). Maybe this demand for Linux/UNIX people is running short becuase so many people are studying for MCSE and Cisco? Got a project I'm finishing up at work and once thats over I'll have more free time to study etc. Got a whole slew of laptops i'm working on fixing. I'll post some pictures, or maybe even a gallery whenever I get a chance.
Found a really good article that summarizes what is known about Time Travel and its possiblities. Not just a simple summary; it provides a good amount of information. I found it to be very interesting to read. Not for those who have little or no interest in the topic. The article is located on the Scientific American website at this link.
