I've been seeing a lot of Monarch Butterflies outside my office window. That wouldn't be strange if not for the fact that I'm in the city, on the 8th floor. Sometimes I'll see three of four of them at once, flying around outside the window. I've even seen them on the highway, flying just above the cars.

Maybe it is normal, I don't know. I've never had to make regular trips into Boston before, so I can't say that it's something unusual for this time of the year. I've read that Monarch's migrate between August and October, so it may very well be normal. I've also heard that insects are the first species to feel the effects in changes to the weather and climate.
Tomorrow is supposed to be 78 degrees; October 4th, two weeks into Autumn and we have 78 degree weather.
