"I used to feel so alone in the city. All those gazillions of people and then me, on the outside. Because how do you meet a new person? I was very stumped by this for many years. And then I realized, you just say, "Hi." They may ignore you. Or you may marry them. And that possibility is worth that one word."

Being an anti-social, keep-to-himself kind of guy, this quote was eye opening to say the least.
heheh…Now don’t go off saying HI to every girl you see…j/k
Unknown to most on the internet… but djt is shy, keep-to-himself kinda person as well. When driving especially, I don’t talk – it use to make wifey mad.
One thing that helped me was I sold advertising for a newspaper in 1997. I hated that job, I had to talk to people. And for some odd reason, I think the =TAO= forum as helped somewhat.
But as for walking by someone and slipping the word “HI” out, I have no problem doing so, it’s after the word “HI” that I get stuck. So Sitha prolly doesn’t have to worry about you saying “HI” to all the ladies… if you are like djt, you can’t go any further than that, you just stand there and stare.
Hahaha! So true, DJT, so true. I guess we are alike, LOL.
But if you want to learn to say more than “Hi”, you have to at least start with “Hi” to get things going. 🙂
LOL…I don’t think that he should be staring either…
ooops…. Sitha is after me now too. Good thing me wife does not know about this blog 🙂
LMFAO!
Be careful, she might check your browser history! :-O
LoL, interesting comments.
I prefer a light “Hey” with an equal emphasis on the word. often followed by the simple line “is it cold in here?” if she answers yes, then shes looking for someone to warm her up.
