The digestion issues I've been having for the past few months have finally been resolved. I started eating much less during the day, drinking more fluids, and watching my carbs. Sure enough, I feel great throughout the day and rarely have any digestion problems.
The weather has been beautiful the past few days. I went outside around 11pm last night, and it must have been 70 degrees. Most of the flowering tree's in the neighborhood are blooming and the breeze carries their flowery scent. I'm going camping this weekend up in Northern NH (Littleton to be exact) and I'm hoping it won't be too cold. I'm planning on working on the MyFMO project while I'm up there.
One of the stocks I own, PortalPlayer (PLAY), fell 40%+ today. They released news that Apple will not be using them to supply the chips for their high-end devices. The stock adviser I follow, Michael Murphy, released a report after the market closed, and recommended holding it until the company's conference on May 1st. I bought 75 more shares to lower my cost this morning. He is still predicting a big downturn in the market for this year, and he says he think's the housing market will be the first to crash. That isn't good news for me.
I'm still trying to sell my Ware ST property. I dropped the price yesterday for the second time since I put the property on the market. I've dropped it $15,000 so far, and if I drop it more than $20,000 I'll actually have to pay money (!) to sell my house. I have been contemplating the possibility of keeping the property for quite some time now. Selling it would be a huge help because it would take so much weight off my shoulders, but maybe it makes more sense to hold on to it. I had not anticipated the work and time involved in owning this property, and my initial calculations for profit were thrown off by higher than expected insurance costs.
Speaking of properties, I need to get the vacant unit in my Bowers ST property rented. I keep forgetting to put an AD in the Lowell Sun. *Note-to-self: Do that first thing tomorrow*
I'm looking forward to camping this weekend. I'll be going with Thea, and hopefully the weather will hold out. (weather god: no rain please!) I've been dying to spend some time outside. The weather has been so nice lately, and sadly, I've had to observe it through windows. I'll be bringing my camera with me, but I don't know how many pictures I'll be taking. My brother was going to go with us, but he had to take an unexpected business trip to China with my mom. My dad is on his way to Canada. As I type this, I'm on the train home from Boston. Busy traveling people we are.
