Headaches

If there is one pain that clearly signals something is wrong, it's a headache. I get them a lot. In fact, I've sort of learned to cope with having a headache during 70% of my waking hours. Maybe that's why I constantly look like I'm concentrating (which probably helps me come across as mean or unapproachable). Usually they're mild. But sometimes, such as right now, they're so bad I cannot sleep.

Headaches. I need to fix them.

And please don't suggest pills. Covering the symptom never fixes the problem -- it only delays it.

  1. I usually get headaches either because of lack of sleep, too much sleep, stress/tension, or when my eyes change.

I heard somewhere that rubbing your big toe (or right below it) helps make headaches go away or lessen it. 😕 That might be considered covering it, but at least you are not taking a pill.

  2. Yea, I’ve heard that there are nerve endings in the bottom of your feet that connect to all parts of your body. Pressing and massaging those points can have an effect on different parts of your body. I clearly remember that the nerve ending which connects to your brain was located in your big toe.

I know one of the things that is assisting in my headaches is all the caffeine I drink. I have been fighting an up hill battle with coffee for a long time, but I think its about time I put all my energy into restricting it.

  3. That’s interesting Phonexay. I’ve never heard of oregano oil having medicinal properties. Then again, what do I know about the medicinal properties of herbs. 🙂

I’ll definitely have to do some Google research on that.
